So the cowards from KR finally showed their faces after numerous postponements and delaying tactics to cancel the friendly with the men in green. Alas, despite the ultimately futile attempt to unsettle the men from Raffles, KR showed up with no less than 5?6?7? IVPs in their squad, and a bench-warming S-league player. Undaunted, RH could afford to leave star player shaun on the bench and still field a strong team which consisted of captain thaddeus and jack, and very often MIA 'keeper Kaixiang.
After an uneventful first half with neither sides managing to break the deadlock, RH decided to give star winger shaun a run-out. The result was clear for all. Realising that we were too strong a team, shaun decided to sub out in the second half to give the game more balance. With KR still yet to find a goal against a determined RH backfour, it was up to centre-back Azfar who decided to take matters into his own hands (no pun intended) by diverting a corner into his own net to save KR's blushes. That spurred the green team into action. KR endured wave after wave of green attacks but a combination of luck and poor execution saved them a potentially embarrassing scoreline.
Despite the score, the skill and deft movement by Raffles would have left any in awe. Eusoff, are u ready for us?

It is also evidently clear that we are playing like Liverpool under Gerard Houllier. But kudos to Azfar for his very powerful punch into the goal. Beauty has seen no equal there. Also deserving special mention is Ian's very showy shorts....or lack of it. It's a dynamic distraction and I suggest it be implemented to everyone.
ReplyDeletecaptain should lead by example by wearing his block 3 shorts starting from Eusoff game!
