We've got a glimpse of the immense potential of transfer targets Muru and Safar on friday night...the question is...can we lure them to R.H.F.C?
Already, we have had our midfield master Chai Mingjie leaving the club due to age restrictions as well as our dynamo in defence Tito being transferred to PGPFC. If that wasn't enough, further damage to the integrity of the squad in the form of an extended overseas stint for Adit Barbel and Mario and a temporary loan for our very own dumbbell-on-legs Azfar has shaken the foundations of our club.
How are we going to tide through this choppy times??
Must the club call on its most dependable performer, Thaddeus, in this dire straits??
Here is a breakdown of the transfer season...
OUT
(Retirement)
Baike - graduated from club academy. only one with job.
Peter - sunbathing somewhere else.
Ian - retires from soccer. reason being guys in RH not muscular enough, prefers RVR.
(Age restrictions)
Chai Mingjie - Too old. Considering retirement and a new hairdo.
Tito - Just not good enough.
(Overseas loan stint)
Adit - Wasting his life away.
Mario - Being an antisocial somewhere else.
(Local loan stint)
Azfar - loaned to Kuok for one semester. Hopefully returns with 'Zheng-er' body.
(Injuries)
Gant - we all know injury is just an excuse.
IN
Ragiv - on free transfer from KR. However, incessantly bugged by poachers from floorball.
PENDING
Safar - Currently plays for science. Cameos in Lion King.
Muru - currently plays for science; residing at RVR. Known as "Beast' due to uncanny likeness to certain X-men character.

GayBoy Jack.
Has anyone seen Jack Goh JieKe recently? If you haven't and want to catch a glimpse of him, just follow the trail of vomit along the way.
As it turns out, due to his present flat stomach, Jack has developed a taste for all things gay....as can be seen in the recent many-buttoned, horizontal-striped shirt that he wore to Clementi.
Is this the advent of a N.U.M Jack?? In fact, he has seemed to changed his nerdy looking specs for a more contemporary pair....
Numerous theories have sprung up to explain this bout of gayness...
1) Winning Mr Raffles have got to his head....
2) He thinks his stomach is actually flat....
3) Yes, you're culture sec but it doesn't mean you have to be GAY...
4) It's his final year...so he's finally decided to reveal his true colours....
Whatever the reason is......the truth is out there.
Wenger admits to seeing what he didn't see
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits he has protected his players by claiming to not see incidents which he had seen to avoid publicly criticising any member of his team.
Wenger has revealed the sense of loyalty he feels to his players, and admitted it did sometimes stray into being dishonest if he felt it was in their best interests.

Best interests or not...I always knew he was a liar.

Shameless advertising.
Hi all.
This is Thaddeus, your new RH female soccer captain... I'm thinking of starting a new female team of hmm...say about 12? and i want YOU to be part of it.
I am fairly confident of being able to start a blog that doesn't begin with 'neverwinbefore' with you ladies...
IF you are a MALE and reading this, please intro your female friends to me.
I'm contactable via HP (90489615) or Email/MSN(u0703692@nus.edu.s/t_kan@hotmail.com)
I'm female-shy and any confrontation would preferably be through email or sms or msn. =)
We'll probably do better than the guys this sem, so if you want a chance to laugh at your male soccer friends in RH, this is a good chance to do so.

Lion Kings RHoar at Testimonial!
The Lion Kings --- Safar, Muru, Rajev --- provided a little glimpse of the change that is to come at RH in the near future.
Their telepathic passes, sizzling runs and mesmerizing runs made the usually impenetrable Raffles Hall team seem as though they were KE7 for a moment.
Also gracing the occasion was combined uni player Manfred Tan. It was truly a tremendous testimonial of sorts.
However, special mention must be given to 2 players...
Our very own Rajev Simba was a force to be reckoned with. Ok, so Simba isn't really his surname and I think I spelled Rajev wrongly but he really possesses a Lion's strong heart...and golden mane.
Next on the list is Safar Scar. Yea, this is the same guy who demolished RH at the arts open finals 2 years back after he got passed star defender Thaddeus before placing the ball sublimely into the back of the net. How that happened is a mystery...not the goal but the getting past Thaddeus. Aiya, I no mood to say anymore already.
Alright, our last soon-to-be Rafflesian, Muru Mufasa...hasn't been touched on not because he wasn't fantastic.. Nono, don't get me wrong. I've omitted his laurels because he is my friend and I'm too lazy to type anymore... No offense.
Disclaimer: Simba, Mufasa and Scar are copyrights of Walt Disney Corporation and any reference of them or resemblance to them, dead or alive, are purely coincidental.
Anyway, for those who are interested and haven't given up reading this boring crap even till now and really want to bother for lack of something better to do...it would be good to know that Mario, whose testimonial it was, had a good time. Ya.

TESTIMONIAL MATCH FOR MARIO.
Our star defensive midfielder Mario the Maestro has handed in a transfer request over to an European club. For a whopping 6 million Euros and some cheeseburgers, he will be moving over for a 6 month stint this coming month.
In lieu of his tremendous contributions to Raffles Hardcourt United, we are organising a testimonial match for him at the Kallang Cage. Due to his immense popularity, we are expecting a sell-out crowd of about..err...15, of which there will be other star names like Jack the Twister, Wuyao the Ah Tiong and Ram...hmm..the Sports Sec.
In addition to this spectacular motley of stars, we expect a showing of 3 new additions to our team aka as the Lion King Gang aka as the INDIANS.....
Rajev, Muru and Safa --- names out of a Lion King episode --- will be making appearances at this event where the crowd will be given the opportunity to marvel at their silky skills and their ability to disappear into the darkness by not smiling..
In order not to miss out, book your tickets...NOW. Call Jack or Thaddeus for more information. Tickets limited to first 15 only.

Unfortunately, there is no third match in IHG. So, don't be like fat thad. EXERCISE.
